Problem Note 51315: Public scaling variables need to be included in the scale_factor internal data set when the internal data are loaded

In SAS® OpRisk VaR, if you want to perform scaling by using the public data scale factors, they need to be included in the scale_factor internal data set when the internal data are loaded. Failure to do so results in the inability to perform scaling with public data. When public scaling is attempted, the UI displays the following message:
No financial data exists for external scale factor variables.
